The Regulatory Reality in the UK (2026 Update) For patients in the UK, access to these pharmacological treatments is highly restricted. As of early 2026, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) officially rejected Syfovre for use in the UK. Furthermore, while Izervay is still under MHRA consideration, its European application was recently withdrawn by the manufacturer.
