Does private health insurance cover this treatment?
Currently, most UK insurers view PBM as an emerging therapy. We recommend checking with your specific provider. However, we offer the monthly Eye Plan to make costs manageable.
Why is the initial cycle more expensive?
The initial cycle (£1,600) includes a comprehensive baseline assessment, specialised imaging (OCT/Optos), and 8 intensive sessions to "load" the retinal cells with energy.
Can I stop the monthly plan at any time?
Yes. The Dry AMD Eye Plan is designed to be flexible. It simply helps spread the cost of your annual maintenance cycles.
